Introduction

Altec Lansing has a well-earned reputation in the PC speaker market for consistency and quality. Through years of research and development, they came out on top with the ACS 48 power cube speaker system and the ACS 45. With sound quality to match their competitive prices, Altec Lansing has managed to squeeze their way into the upper echelons of the PC sound market.

Now, as the race for 3D audio supremacy heats up, technologies such as Dolby Digital and Dolby Pro Logic speaker designs and implementations get face-lifts, and with the USB port fast becoming a standard, many PC speaker manufacturers are eager to adapt to the future. Among the competitorsare Altec Lansing, with their new True Digital Audio lineup, based on a 3-Speaker design using Universal Serial Bus. The ADA 305 speaker system is one of the first in this category
