REVIEW ZONE : everything you need to know

Overview

The board has a very neat layout. 5 PCI slots, 2 ISA slots and the standard 2x AGP slot. 8 Sanyo capacitors are located near Slot 1 connector for providing a stable voltage to the CPU.  Both IDE channels are in front of the DIMM sockets for better and easier access. The ATX power connector is also in front of the DIMM sockets giving the user easy access even inside the casing. But unfortunately the floppy connector is far away, hedged between the printer port and the CPU plug-in slot. This placement might give some users a tough time but hardly anybody changes this cable all the time so it may not be a big issue. And finally, there’s a heatsink on top of the Intel 440 BX chips to reduce heat generation from this chip.

A final inspection of the board easily makes it evident that this board has been built to a high standard using quality components to provide rock solid stability.
