Overview

The P2B board contains one Slot 1 connector, which supports Pentium II and Celeron S.E.C. cartridge processors. The expansion slots consist of three dedicated 32-bit PCI slots, two dedicated 16-bit ISA slots, one shared PCI/ISA slot, and a standard 2x AGP bus for the graphics card. The memory subsystem contains three 168-pin DIMM slots and supports up to 768MB of 100MHz SDRAM system memory. Memory modules must be 3.3v unbuffered DIMMs. The on-board PCI IDE controller has two UltraDMA/33 IDE ports that will support up to four IDE devices and the LS-120MB floppy disk drive. 

There is also support for an ATAPI EIDE CD-ROM. The on-board I/O consists of one floppy port up to 2.88MB with  Mode 3 support, two serial ports that are 16550 Fast UART compatible, and one parallel port with EPP and ECP support. The ATX double decker I/O shield consists of 2 USB port connectors, one PS/2 keyboard port, one PS/2 mouse port, the parallel ports and the two serial ports. There is also a 3V, 5V, and 12V 20-Pin ATX power connector with Soft Power support. The BIOS is an Award BIOS on a 2MB Flash EEPROM and features Plug and Play, ACPI, and DMI. The motherboard comes in an ATX form.
