Microsoft Force Feedback Pro Joystick

Retail Price $99

Review by Kanishka Wanasundera
December 16, 1998

Introduction

In the beginning, there was 3D-accelerated graphics to make games look real. Then, there was 3D sound, which really dragged you off your seat and dumped you head-first into the game...but there was still something missing. That “something” is here -Force Feedback technology puts you in the saddle and says, “Hold on to that, we’re going for a ride.” And some ride it is, too. This is the next level of gaming, where you can literally feel the game respond in your hands. This is the next step in that long, long quest for totally realistic gameplay, and it’s one step every hardcore gamer is going to enjoy immensely. Hang on to something; we’re going for a ride.
