Internet-targeted digital cameras are not exactly a new thing. But until quite recently they required you to install an ISA/PCI card or use the printer port on your computer. Both of these can be quite a hassle. The answer lies in USB technology. USB, if you don't know, is an acronym for "Universal Serial Bus" and it means exactly that, it is a connector that can be used to hook up a whole host of devices to a PC. Contrast
this with the RS-232-C (where your modem goes), parallel (mostly for printers)
and PS/2 ports, which tend to be for pretty specific purposes. Let me
