Pros and Cons

Pros

• Small and lightweight
Ease of use due to USB interface
Cheap
Supports a wide range of capture resolutions

Cons

• Seems to have problems with certain motherboards and these are not listed by Creative.

Conclusion

If it wasn't for the detection problem, recommending this would be a no-brainer. As things stand, however, you either have to be resigned to the fact that you may need to pull the USB plug out and put it back in if you restart your computer, or you have to go for a different camera. Only you can decide this, based on your typical usage patterns, naturally -do you reboot your computer often? Leaving that problem aside, this is a very good and easy to use camera.

Its picture quality is not for professional use but is great for keeping in touch with friends and family. The software which comes with it is easy to use and is a lot of fun as well.
