1. Hitachi Superscan Elite 751

Hitachi are the first manufacturer to produce a 19-inch monitor for the consumer market, and are still going strong with their Superscan Elite 751. Although this model is more than one year old, it still manages to hang onto the market. Featuring a 0.22 mm dot pitch, this monitor produces sharp images with vivid colors at a mere $570.

 
2. IIYAMA Vision Master 450

This monitor is also a very good performer, with picture quality 
similar to that of a high-end 21-inch monitor. Featuring a 0.26 mm dot pitch, the sharpness and picture quality are quite impressive. 
The IIYAMA Vision Master 450 is worth every cent of it’s 
$590 price tag.

 
3. ViewSonic PS790

ViewSonic is a well-known name for monitors and projectors. 
They offer monitors of various designs to satisfy users with different budgets and different requirements. At $520, the PS790 offers quality performance.
