Strategy & War
1. Caesar
III
Strategy gaming has never been so complex or so
addictive. Work at the Review Zone offices ground to a halt the day this
game arrived, and it was only with a supreme effort of will that we tore
ourselves away from the complexities of ruling a Roman city. We could go
on for hours about this game, but suffice to say, you’ll never forgive
yourself if you pass this by. Games like this are what justify the gamers
continued existence. |

2. StarCraft
As far as strategy gaming goes, StarCraft is still
the yardstick by which the entire genre is judged. Undoubtedly a landmark
and a must for anyone with even a faint interest in strategy gaming. |

3. Railroad Tycoon II
This game builds upon the success of its predecessor,
one of the classics of strategy gaming. There is no shortage of good strategy
games around, but few of them are so fascinating in every aspect. Highly
addictive and engrossing, with a gorgeous interface and great Internet
play, this game is highly recommended. |
